CRD-SEE implemented a youth exchange in Struga using dance for self-expression and communication. Fifty-six young people from seven countries explored poverty and social exclusion through national popular dance traditions, with particular attention to marginalised groups and minorities.
The Youth in Action exchange took place from 2 to 10 February 2011 and concluded with a public concert in Struga. Participants came from North Macedonia, Italy, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Latvia, Bulgaria and Lithuania. The public performance brought the group’s intercultural learning into the local community.
